STUFF FOR OTHER CHARACTERS TO SENSE/DETECT:

These are all drop downs, of course! If I have it listed here, assume you don't need permission for your character to detect or sense this.
If something has a LOT of traits, it's not because I expect all of them to be sensed, but rather just to give out a bunch of useful things for tags. Like I'm slamming down a box of craft supplies and going "okay, go nuts!!!"

SOUL STUFF

• Like with Chipp, all of the organic parts of Louis's body (skin, flesh, hair) is his soul. All of it grows out of his soul, like the arms of a seastar. There is no part of him that is physical matter, it is literally all soul. His clothes/items from home also aren't physical matter, but they aren't part of his soul; they're just made of normal magic.


• When it's summoned, Louis's Weapon is also clearly part of his soul, as if it's just another part of himself but sectioned off on its own somehow.


• His soul (and thus his entire body) has a heat wave-like shimmer to it and a pearlescent sheen, almost like he has a thin layer of oil covering his soul.


• If your character can sense even deeper, his soul is sectioned into Orange, and two separate Red portions. One of them feels shaky and flimsy, like it could shatter at any moment, but never does.
  Check the soul page to learn more about what those colors mean.


• For those characters who can hear souls (coughMAXcough), I'm just gonna leave this here. Because yeah, sure, why not have my first time publicly sharing my own music be buried in the info post that not many people are gonna notice, why not.


• His soul isn't particularly special compared to a human's; if someone wouldn't see any traits like those listed above for the souls of any random human on the street, they wouldn't see those traits from Louis's, either.

DIVINITY (angels/demons)

• As a Grim Reaper, Louis is able to be detected as "something divine" along the veins of angels and demons; if that's all characters can sense (i.e. they can't tell between angels and demons) then that's all they'll feel. Just that he's "something" on that level.


• For anyone who can sense more than that, they'll either feel that he's:
  A. a weird, horrific mishmash of angel, demon, AND human, like some unnatural conglomeration of the three.
  OR
  B. neither angel nor demon, but a Secret Third Thing in that strange, unknowable kinda way.
  
  This is an either/or situation; a character cannot sense both of these things! (It'd be a little weird if they could since they're intentionally incompatible, but still worth mentioning probably? IDK)


• He has no physical traits of either angels nor demons! He has horns, but to actual angels/demons, it's likely very clear that they're more just a him thing. However, it's very obvious that his physical form is a "facade" that allows him to interact with the world - it's very much real and physical and can be used, but he clearly doesn't need it beyond the main parts of his soul.
  So, again, he's a Secret Third Thing. In the worst way.


• For power sensing, it's possible to detect that he has some kind of "seal" on him, though what that seal is, isn't easy to pick out at all.


• The above are all things that Louis is aware of! It's instinctual knowledge for Grim Reapers; he won't be shocked if they're mentioned or anything.
  Unlike Chipp, Louis is even more aware that this truly is an angel/devil situation thanks to his Orange-based second sight letting him peer into things like that. He's one of the only few able to look at his world's true angelic writing without headaches or vomiting.

MINDREADING / MIND POWERS

• Thanks to being an Orange magician - and a powerful one, at that - Louis is immune to the mind powers of others unless he lets them in, intentionally. He can feel when another psychic is attempting to read his mind and can choose to allow them to, but they'll likely only get him teasing them for it. Otherwise, it's impossible.
  
• To go with that, he's immune to "madness" effects, himself - however, he can act as a catalyst for the madness auras of others, kind of like a WiFi extender for the eldritch and insane.
